let me recount my trip to the clinic. i went down yest for my second jab for my hep b vaccination. the doctor literally stabbed me with the needle! STABBED! basically..he just pushed the needle into my arm..with little regard of where the needle went..and even less regard of the excruciating pain that shot through my arm. this is not a gross exaggeration i tell you..it really was painful..i thought the vaccine was supposed to enter your bloodstream? are there that many tiny cappilaries in the arm that anywhere you poke..you score?
so anyway..i also had him check out my eye..which was throbbing with pain. i half thought my sister sneaked a punch while i was aslp..hhaha..but as it turned out..there was a mini bump caused by some irritation. so anyway..he took one look..and asked 'do you wear contacts?'. when i said yes...a flash of triumph crossed his eye..you could literally see eureka!! in a mini speech bubble above his head! furthermore...he whipped out a large illustration of the eye and went on to explain why my eye hurts (turns out it wasn't my sister)..and he used plenty of doctor's jargon..things like papillo-itis..or something to this extent. at least this man knew what was wrong..i'd be horrified if he had said 'err...i'm not too sure but i think it's because of this-that-yada-yada'..i mean..you're supposed to know! you're the doctor! that's why you're paid large amts of money such that you can afford such a pretty clinic!! oh well..that was my trip to the doctor's..absolutely un-interesting if you ask me! oh yay!!!! i can start my career in netball training supervison (that's what i'm supposed to do officially) on the 3rd feb! every thurs!! oh yes!! (:
